The New Jersey Afterschool Directory is your online tool for finding afterschool programs in New Jersey. This directory, sponsored by New Jersey After 3 through a grant from PSE&G, includes details about more than 2000 programs available for New Jersey’s kids in grades K-12 before school, after school, on weekends, during school vacations, and during the summer. The search and browse features offer seven different ways to find programs, and afterschool providers can add and update their listings online.
The New Jersey Afterschool Directory is currently the most comprehensive set of data about New Jersey’s afterschool programs that is publicly accessible online. Providers are actively adding and updating program listings. Please be patient as we continue to update the data, and please check back often to learn more about programs in your community and across the state.
New Jersey After 3 (NJA3) and Public Services Enterprise Group (PSEG) do not endorse or recommend any programs or organizations listed in this directory. The responsibility for providing and maintaining accurate directory listings rests with the afterschool providers. Although the directory displays programs’ licensing and accreditation status, this information is self-reported by afterschool providers. Families are encouraged to check with the New Jersey Department of Children and Families Office of Licensing for the most current list of licensed programs and to visit programs to look for key indicators of quality.
